XeConvert is a free online currency converter, running since 2017 and available in 14 languages. It covers 289 currencies (national currencies, precious metals and major cryptocurrencies), i.e. 82,678 currency pairs.
We publish mid-market rates: the midpoint between buy and sell prices on the foreign exchange markets. They are aggregated from public market data and reference rates published by central banks, through the open dataset fawazahmed0/exchange-api.
Rates are updated once a day, and a daily history is kept for every pair (charts up to 10 years). Last update: 2026-10-11.
Banks, card issuers and exchange offices add a margin or fees on top of the mid-market rate. XeConvert shows this reference rate so you can compare offers; it is not a guaranteed transaction rate.
